Children and youth are vital stakeholders in climate dialogue, and this exhibit will create an inclusive platform for their perspectives to influence global discussions on climate change. Art enables children to engage with complex topics, helping them understand climate issues and envision solutions. By integrating climate education with artistic expression, we foster an environment where children’s voices can be heard, enhancing their sense of agency in climate action. Centering their voices at COP29 underscores the urgency of taking action and aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The climate crisis demands the creativity and diverse insights of youth, ensuring that every voice contributes to the narrative of change.
The additional resources and other links available for some individual events are not hosted on the official COP29 Canada Pavilion website, and as such, it is not guaranteed that they will be available in both official languages.
