This panel will discuss role of legislation in advancing Just Transition. The governments of Canada and Spain will provide high level overviews of their experience and will discuss their reflections and challenges of standing up Just Transition legislation, and on the anticipated/observed impact on energy/economic transition. Experts from labour organisations from different jurisdictions will then reflect on the risks/opportunities, and provide advice for countries that are developing similar approaches.
